My Story

My career has always been built around one core principle: creating real, measurable value. With over 30 years as a CPA, I’ve spent my life helping clients, employers, and now investors make smarter, more strategic financial decisions. I spent a decade with two of the world’s top consulting firms—EY and PwC—working on transactions totaling tens of billions of dollars, including IPOs, acquisitions, and divestitures. That experience shaped how I think about risk, structure, discipline, and long-term performance—not just short-term wins.

But real estate has always been my constant. I began investing in 1994, and it’s remained a passion throughout every phase of my career. Over time, I realized that the most powerful opportunities happen when financial expertise meets operational execution and local market understanding. Today, I bring those disciplines together—combining institutional-level financial strategy with hands-on real estate investing—to identify and execute high-potential opportunities, most recently in Oxford, Mississippi.

My Big 4 background refined how I approach strategic planning, financial analysis, and risk management, but real estate taught me something just as important: numbers alone don’t create performance—execution does. That’s why I take a hands-on role in acquisitions, due diligence, development oversight, and vertically integrated property management. I believe in maintaining control over quality, consistency, and the resident experience, because long-term asset performance is built through operational excellence, not shortcuts.

Being based in Oxford and maintaining a local office allows me to stay deeply connected to the market. I’ve built strong relationships with brokers, attorneys, developers, bankers, and operators, giving me real-time visibility into opportunities before they reach the broader market. That on-the-ground presence, combined with my institutional financial background, allows me to identify opportunities early, structure them intelligently, execute with discipline, and manage them with intention.

At the core of everything I do is a long-term mindset—focused on sustainability, alignment, and real outcomes. My commitment is simple: disciplined execution, transparent communication, and building investments that perform not just today, but for years to come—serving both investors and residents with integrity, consistency, and excellence.

Why I Do It

I don’t do this for transactions—I do it for impact, alignment, and long-term outcomes.

After decades in finance and consulting, I’ve seen what happens when decisions are driven by short-term thinking, misaligned incentives, and a lack of accountability. Deals get done, but value isn’t always created. People win in the moment, but systems fail over time. I wanted to build something different—something grounded in discipline, integrity, and long-term stewardship.

I believe real estate should be structured intelligently, operated responsibly, and managed with intention. It’s not just about buying assets—it’s about building systems that work: for investors, for residents, and for the communities they serve. I do this because I believe in doing things the right way—using strategy instead of shortcuts, data instead of hype, and structure instead of speculation.

At the heart of it, I do this because I care about outcomes. I care about protecting capital, creating sustainable performance, and building investments that endure. I care about clarity, transparency, and alignment. And I care about creating opportunities where investors don’t just participate in deals—they participate in well-built, well-managed, well-governed systems that are designed to last.

This isn’t just business to me. It’s stewardship. It’s responsibility. It’s building something that holds value—not just financially, but structurally, operationally, and ethically—for the long term.
